Okay, so, I barely even spoke to Jane, let alone danced with her. She danced with other people, and I mostly danced with Victoria. At about 10:45ish, Sabrina was all like, "Here, talk! Become friends by association!" and pushed me into this really tall girl named Alyx who seemed to be friends with everyone. I really liked her yellow dress. Well, we talked for a while, and totally hit it off. We hung out for the rest of the night, danced a bit, and now we're going out! I really like her, and I guess she liked me back... :D We have a lot in common ( like, we both can't dance and we have same drug habits) and yeah. I'm really happy. I get to see her again in about 2 1/2 hours, for the parade. Yay Capitol City Pride! I'm so excited! P.S. She let me borrow her red hat. :) Tags: alyx, gay prom, lurve Current Location: Sleater-Kinney. Current Mood: loved Current Music: Daddy- The Hail Seizures

I'll go in order of bands... Hail Seizures-- So amazing, as usual. I was telling Sabrina that I love local shows way better than huge concerts because a) the music's better, b) everyone is actually friends with the band, c) there's a higher level of intimacy in a small space with people you know and love all crammed together listening to an amazing band that you don't have to be famous to hang out with. I got a cd for $3. (!!! Hail Seizures cd!!!) I was right up front (as usual lol) and in danger of being stabbed by Camille's bow. :D Gay Science-- Was actually just Kevin, bass, drum machine. It was really cool, though, and when Clone came on Matt, Cassie, Paris and I (and probably a few others) started singing really loudly. :) Joey Casio/Sewn Leather-- Fucking amazing. It was all synthesized, electronic, amazing power music. House, I guess. Really cool, and fun to dance to. King Mob-- OMG YAY. Everyone was so excited to see King Mob, and they did splendidly. Kevin and Cassie banging away on the drums in unison, Cassie yelling, Paris on the guitar, Eric on bass, man, they're so good. I love Cassie's singing. I found out which song was my favorite-- It's called Life in the Crosshairs. So, yeah, it was so fucking rad. I sweated gallons, and danced, and got to ride in the new 9/11's tour bus! And now for unrelated news: Yesterday morning, I woke up like, "Omg I feel amazing and happy pepper super I'm gonna be in such a good mood today." And then Mom started an argument or something and we got into a huge fight. I left. Hung out downtown, went back home, Mom was gone, blah blah, went to the show, and stayed the night at Staff House. Over the phone, Mom wasn't mad at me at all. Fo some reason. It's weird that we didn't even talk about the fight, but just silently telepathically made up. Uh, okay. So that's my yesterday.
